Jaime Ruszkowski, M.D.

Dr. Jaime Ruszkowski M.D was born in New Haven, CT, raised in CT and received her degree as an Honors Scholar in Molecular and Cell Biology from the University of Connecticut. She completed her medical degree with honors from Albany Medical College in NY, graduating in the top of her class and elected to Alpha Omega Alpha- the prestigious Honor Medical Society. She always knew she wanted to be a primary care physician and was honored to receive “The Richard Barnett Award” at graduation. An award to one graduating senior student who embodies those characteristics considered to be ideal for the practice of General Internal Medicine. She then went on to graduate from the Yale Primary Care Internal Medicine Residency Program where she was honored to be chosen to serve an additional year as Chief Resident. She is thrilled to be practicing in her home state since 2012. Her special interests include preventive care, diabetes, hypertension and hyperlipidemia. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her husband and two young children, reading and running.
