Mario A. Pinto, DO

Dr. Mario A. Pinto grew up in New York City where he attended The City College of New York (CCNY). He graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Biology and received the Jonas E. Salk Award scholarship for medical school.  Through his work experience, interest in biology, scientific research and interest in building personal relationships he decided to pursue medicine as a career.

Dr. Pinto attended A. T. Still School of Osteopathic Medicine in Arizona where he discovered the importance and developed a passion for primary care.  He went back to New York City and completed a three-year residency in Internal Medicine with a focus on Primary Care at NYU Langone Brooklyn Campus.  Upon graduation as a Co-Chief Resident of the Internal Medicine Primary Care Track, he received the Resident of The Year Award, and The Prasad Award for The Art of Medicine and Excellence in Patient Care.   After his training, Dr. Pinto was elated to join Internal Medicine Associates of Westport.

In his spare time, Dr. Pinto enjoys spending time with his family and friends, swimming, martial arts (Muay Thai and Kung Fu), Jazz music, vintage movie posters and traveling.
